Vice Admiral Datuk Khairul Anuar bin Yahya (RTD) is the Chairman of Preston Shipyard Sdn Bhd. He was born in 8th April 1960 at Taiping, Perak. He had his early education in Singapore and later at Tunku Abdul Rahman Technical High School in Penang. His highest educations obtained are Master of Arts in Defence and Master of Science in Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and National Defence University, Washington DC.
